| Google downloading twice
1123 02:17 sitemap_index.xml.gz Googlebot 66.249.66.133 Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Googlebot/2.1; +Webmaster Help Center) ------------------------ 1142 02:48 sitemap_index.xml.gz Googlebot 66.249.66.133 Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Googlebot/2.1; +Webmaster Help Center) ------------------------ (all sitemap files effected) There is only 1 scedualed task. Verified there is no manual cron task in the background. The schedualed task kicks off at 2am. I had deleted the older task in vb after updating, but it had ran for awhile (~week) doing task twice. Once at 2am and again at 3am. Unsure why it is downloading 2x. 00 2 * * * vbseo_sitemap_task 12-23-06 02:00 AM Thoughts?       |

Hello Alan, usually Google checks whether sitemap exists (1st hit) right after receiving the ping and then puts your sitemap to processing queue, and downloads it for processing after some time (2nd hit).
