Google Cache Off By 2 or More Days

How can I get Google to cache the site sooner? The index page seems to be off 2 or more days and some of the pages are from an installation of IPB.

Maybe there are some settings that I have wrong.

What should I look for so that I know this is set properly?

There's no way to control that. If you have some that are updated every 2 days then that is GREAT. Most are cached much less often than that.

Thank you for the answer. I was not sure if this was tied to the sitemap in some way.
