Generating Issues, errors on visiting control panel on successful install

I get this error on the top of the page when i go to the sitemap generator control panel.

If I attempt to run the sitemap generator, I get this page:

Cannot run sitemap generator directly: you should be logged in to do this.

I have manually run the scheduled task and it was successful. How ever, no sitemap page is actually generated at

http://mydomain.com/forums/sitemap_index.xml.gz

I looked at the server files and found all the files had been generated.

What is going on?

Sound slike you upgraded your php version. These are known issues in the 2.5 series on php 5.3. i would suggest running php 5.2.x for sometime longer as 5.3 isn't fully support yet.

I can't just downgrade php, im hosted by someone else.



Seems to be happening to a couple other mods but not many. Is there a temp fix to get Sitemaps to work?

The messages are wranings only. it will still work.

The error is in the last line

Make sure you have an open session in vbseo_sitemap/ when you run.

Define have an open session?

I tried turning off the password and still it says the need to login thing, I even attempted to run the script outside of Admincp from vbseo_sitemap/vbseo_sitemap.php

Nothing works no matter what I do.

If I click show sitemap download logs, it prompts for password. When I put it in, it takes me to the main menu again. Same with Show SE Bots Activity Log (vBSEO v2.4.1 or higher is required) and show report list.

I followed the read me to the T, even 777 data folder. Any solutions?
