vBulletin 4.x forum restore to older version

Hi.

I want to restore my Forum to 3 weeks old date.
While my Sitemap sends data to google everyday.

Do you think it is alright ? or i need to take necessary steps in sitemap / google ? before or after database restoration

If you move your forum to 2-3 wees ago data , you should delete your current sitemap files and regenerate them.

You can delete all xml.gz extension files within vbseo_sitemap/data folder

Do i also need to delete /home/sitemap_index.xml.gz from google Webmaster sitemap area ? and than resend it ?
or i just need to click on RESUBMIT in google webmaster sitemap area ?

Please note, Most of my xml.gz files inside Google Webmaster sitemap area are marked with WARNING icon.
Only 3 files are marked with Tick Mark icon.

It will re-ping automatically when it runs again. You shouldn't need to do anything in webmaster tools.

I have done all this.

Now in google webmaster tool i see Cross icon.
All of my sitemap files inside google webmaster area are marked with Cross icon.

While i can access this link correctly.

If i Resubmit each sitemap files individually from google webmaster tool, that will be marked with Tick icon.

Like :

/home/sitemap_album_1.xml.gz
/home/sitemap_archive_1.xml.gz
/home/sitemap_forum_1.xml.gz
/home/sitemap_forum_10.xml.gz
etc....




What could be wrong ?

Now after 3 days i can see in google analytics that my website ranking was -5.24 . Now it is again little bit up at -2.4
40% sitemap files are also now Okay.
remaining 60% sitemap files are cross icon removed. It is now with Warning icon.
I hope this will be okay in next 1 week. Lets see...

High response times are directly related to your server/hardware/network.

302's should not be included in your sitemap. You may need to disable showpost and/or the archive if you are using the vbseo re-writes of these pages. Google only wants final 200 destination urls in the sitemap.


The final error is due to the []'s. These are specail characters and you should probably change your vbseo char replacement options to 'remove non-english chars in urls', otherwise specify their replacements in the box.

As you can see all above errors are accord between 15 august to 25 august 2011.
Because i was transferring my data from one server to another.

Now i have resubmitted each sitemap file individually , And all are marked Okay.
I will now wait 1 week to see what happen with these files. if i see same error again, i will update here.
