Errors with sitemap

It tells me this when I try to add it.

The Sitemap must be located at B20Vtec.Com. B series and beyond. To add a Sitemap at B20Vtec.Com...... B Series and Beyond - Powered by vBulletin, first add that site to your account and then click the Add a Sitemap link beside it.

I know I can move the file but shouldnt the program trick it into thinking its in the root?

edit. I added b20vtec.com/forums to my dashboard on google. Now I gave yahoo the same link. It didnt give me an error loading it. Thanks again for helping me threw this. It gets very fustrating when it doesnt work right.
