| errors with sitemap
In the google.com/webmaster/tools page I was getting errors for the forum sitemap. I looked in the vbseo_sitemap page and the link to the site map (http://www.socaltrailriders.org/foru...p_index.xml.gz) gives this error: Code: XML Parsing Error: xml declaration not at start of external entity Location: http://www.socaltrailriders.org/forum/sitemap_index.xml.gz Line Number 2, Column 1: I changed the thing in google's tools page to the sitemap_1.xml.gz file and no more errors there. What went wrong and will sitemap_1.xml.gz still work? Thanks       |

Try downloading vBSEO Sitemap 1.7 RC4 and installing that.

how do you know which is rc4? The downloads screen doesn't say what version it is.. |

There should only be one 1.7 listed. That will be the latest one.
