Error open stream

Warning: main(VBSEO_SMDIR/vbseo_sitemap_functions.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /vbseo_sitemap/vbseo_sitemap.php on line 47

I dont know why i dont work as task anymore...
The manual sitemap generation works fine.

which version of vBSEO Sitemap Generator are you using? Please download the latest v1.6.1 from vbulletin.org.

I think its already installed ...
You helped me installing the newest version on 6 april 2006, because of the memory problem.

After that the whole sitemap running fine, but now it dont work anymore trough the task manager, although we have not really changed something like vb oder vbseo ... I dont know what the problem can be :(

Please make sure that in vbseo_sitemap.php file yuo have the following:

PHP Code:

@define('VBSEO_SMDIR', dirname(__FILE__)); 


right after:

PHP Code:

@set_time_limit(0); 


I am having a similar problem. I can download the file through Firefox but when trying to open with winrar I get a not valid archive error. I can open the file in notepad and the first line contains these errors:

I am running version 1.6.1 of vbseo sitemap and version 3.5.4 of vbulletin.

I also tried the 1.7 version as I was getting errors. Now I get the following:

Warning: main(VBSEO_SMDIR/vbseo_sm_config30x.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /vbseo_sitemap/vbseo_sitemap_functions.php on line 45

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required 'VBSEO_SMDIR/vbseo_sm_config30x.php' (include_path='.:/php/includes') in /var/www/html/subs/forums/vbseo_sitemap/vbseo_sitemap_functions.php on line 45

Rather new to PHP. But that seems to indicate it doesn't know where the VBSEO_SMDIR is located?

Any ideas?

Hello Rik,

perhaps you didn't uploaded all files from the package I linked to in the previous message. It shouldn't contain this code in vbseo_sitemap_functions.php. Please check that.

I re-installed 1.7 but couldn't get it working. In the end, I re-installed 1.6.1 and it is working fine now so I'm a happy camper.
