Just picked up 1000 more on 3/4/10. Why are the bots seeing this code when they shouldn't? A GA glitch wouldn't last 4 or 5 days in a row right?

But they are parsing my /outgoing/ script...

    Here's from a view source:

    Code:
    <a onclick="pageTracker._trackPageview ('/outgoing/http_blog_gasbuddy_com_posts_Total_oil_supply_cushy_and_outlook_remains_cushy_1715_388543_167_aspx');" href="http://blog.gasbuddy.com/posts/Total-oil-supply-cushy-and-outlook-remains-cushy/1715-388543-167.aspx"

onclick is not an event that bots will pick up on. This is a flaw in google. The code is correct.

I have over 35K crawl errors related to this so I decided to disable this feature:

"Add Google Analytics "Tracking External Link Clicks" Code?"

...but now I can see that other google crawling errors being generated. The threads exists but google see the links being cut off for some reason...

What is causing it? I appreciated your help!

UPDATE: The cut off error links maybe coming from links on other web sites, not sure.

Webmaster tools will stuff it self with false-positives all the time. As long as these items correctly 404, there is nothing to do or change, as they truely don't exist.

Thank you Brian for the prompt reply!

I assume it won't affect google's ranking, is that correct?

No, the correct response code for things that do not exist is 404.
