Can't generate Sitemap

When I try to generate a sitemap I receive this error:

Is it because my forum doesn't have any threads yet?

It's a new forum, I tried posting one thread and then running the generator but still receive an error.

Where did you get the error message you posted?

This is NOT an error message, but rather the 'generation log'.

Check that your data folder is 777. It probably can't write your files out, so it stops running

It is set to 777. Why is there a database error message under the message if it's not an error?
