    Can't access /sitemap_index.xml

    Howdy,

    I've installed the vBSEO Google/Yahoo Sitemap plugin, but when I go to http://www.starcraft2.net/sitemap_index.xml.gz I get a 404.

I went through the common 404 errors at
http://www.vbseo.com/f67/common-trou...-3-0-rc3-6843/ but that didn't resolve anything.

On a side note, is this what is supposed to happen when you click on "Run Sitemap Generator"?:

I believe I finally figured it out after reading this thread: Google not finding sitemap?

For others that have the same issue as me, I fixed my problem by CHMODing everything in /vbseo_sitemap (as well as that dir) to 777.

What gets me is why it doesn't tell me to do this in the installation instructions. It states "CHMOD 777 the 'forum-root/vbseo_sitemap/data/' folder " which I did do as it was the first instruction after all...

    Hello,

you should not chmod main vbseo_sitemap/ folder to 0777, keep it to 0755.
