404's and robots.txt

Seems vbseo is working correctly but I am getting some conflicting messages.

In googles webmaster tools I am getting these:

General HTTP error: 404 not found
We encountered an error while trying to access your Sitemap. Please ensure your Sitemap follows our guidelines and can be accessed at the location you provided and then resubmit.

This is while veiwing: http://www.mywebsite.com/forum/sitemap_title.xml.gz

Another possible issue is in my who's online: Unknown Location robots.txt

My vBSEO logs are showing:

Now i'm getting this:

Google Spider Unknown Location
/forum/sitemap_title.xml.gz

sitemap_title doesn't exist.
you have sitemap_index and sitemap_X where x is an integer.

did you submit the wrong thing?

Both of your sitemap files are loading correct for me.

additionally, your forum is in forums, not forum

I never submitted /forum, I don't understand how google came up with that.

I have only 1 submission to google and that is under /forums
