vBulletin 3.x 2 problems after 3.6.0 upgrade: Forum Home Inaccessible and Blog Like Bug

I just upgraded today and suddenly no one can get to my forums home page.

I checked the custom re-write and it is still there, it is:

'^forums\.php' => 'forums/'

This is at Planet-9 Home

But when I try to go to the forum home page listing of all forums on the site I get an error message "
Invalid Forum specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator"

The other problem I have found is that if I go to the Blogs and read someone's blog post and click the "Like" link, I get "Access Denied!" geez, I'm the admin for crying out loud!

Any help with either problem, greatly appreciated.

Andres I think the redirect I am using is working because if you try to go to Planet-9 it DOES redirect you to http://www.planet-9.com/forums/ but when you get there, you get an error message and I don't understand why. The only thing that has changed has been that I upgraded from 3.2.something to 3.6.0 today. I will try your suggested rule to see if it does any better, in the mean time can you visit my site to have a look?

Any idea on problem #2 in the Blogs where I click on Like and get an Access Denied message? If I click on Like in the forum it works, just not in the Blog area, and yes I have social networking turned on for the blog area.

Are you using a different subdomain for blogs? like blog.site.com or user.site.com ? If so, this is a security issue of the browser itself and needs to be fixed on vb's ajax engine end. there's actually an open issue in jira on vb.com to fix this.

user.site.com as http://www.site.com/member.php?u=userid

yes, but there are some issues with it.... and not officially supported.

i suggest you play with it on a demo site first.
