I request for a zoints thread tags sitemap addon to be included in this thread, I have tried making numerous quality posts/threads on the destination source but not achievable even after last 3 months on try.

Will request the author or anyone else to pleaes add the modification or files in here.

verify that you have
vb_seo_zoints_tag_sm.php
in vbseo_sitemap/addons (it comes with the Sitemaps)

ACP -> vb options -> sitemap generator

add this to the bottom text box.

vb_seo_zoints_tag_sm.php


re-run sitemap.

you forgot to mention after following crap rules, for me there is no sitemap addons for zoints, only something PRIVATE.

Why crap rules ? He coded something for his own usage and then decided to offer it to anyone who registers to his site and has 10 post. If you really find it crappy yo can try to code the same thing by yourself and release it @ vb.org or here. Please try to respect the coders decisions.

Sorry, it's only 2 posts and it's only because I have no time or moderators and I delete and ban several link spammers a day. I just couldn't keep up with all the crap so I had to add crap rules to slow it down somewhat until I get over some issues in my life. The site basically is there for anyone to use, with a little effort, and to make sure I can respond to people that already have my mods installed. Hopefully sometime in the future I can get back to work on it.

Does it still say 10 posts somewhere?

They can add it to the package if they want. I'm not really into tags anymore. They seem to add a lot of noise to the SERPS and they all went to supplemental, as seen before they removed the ability to see what is supplemental. I especially think it's bad now that Google is having a midlife crises and throwing a tantrum. I removed them from my gaming site and my SERPS have increased in the months since then. Unfortunately I lost my PR. Though I am not sure why since I bought no links for that site. But then, PR isn't worth much anymore, if it ever was.

i still get 300 hits a day to tag pages. it's enough for me to keep them.

Yes, it may be good enough for a big site. But for a small site it seems to overwhelm the SERPS. How many pages do you have listed in Google? I ended up with more tag pages than non tag pages and my site never ranked.

Tag Mod from Zoints does have lots and lots of bugs from seo point of view and do agree with same but at same this helps a lot to get content indexed much faster. I do not think Zoints team is ever going to work on this and neither any technical support is provided over this voluntarily work ! alas

best implementation of tags can be seen on gamespot, imdb helps them heavily
