Mobile Sitemap

We have a separate skin for mobile users and I think it would be a great idea to be able to submit our mobile web site to Google Mobile Sitemaps.

I agree but Google will not allow us to submit the regular sitemap. We need to create one specifically with a different name for mobile sitemaps.

i GUESS you could do a global search/replace on all the xml files
replacing link/ with link/?styleid=XX
and then saving it as a new file name.

i dunno... seems a little counter productive to some extent.

Exactly my point! It's 2008 right now, people are using their BlackBerry's and iPhones more and more. Google as well as Yahoo have special mobile search portals which we could submit to if we had mobile sitemaps. It's a simple simple thing for vbseo to add and I think it would assist in helping us drive new users to our web site.
