| Configurable data folder (VBSEO_DAT_FOLDER)
Hello, We have an automated system that syncs our local development server with the productive server, deleting all files on the productive server that are unknown. As a result it deletes the content of the data folder. I've moved the data folder outside the sync area and patched VBSEO_DAT_FOLDER manually. Would be nice if the location of the data folder (VBSEO_DAT_FOLDER) is configurable. Best regards, Thomas Jarosch      |

Hello Thomas, it is configurable within vbseo_sitemap_functions.php file: define('VBSEO_DAT_FOLDER', '/path/to/data/'); we didn't moved it to vB admincp options to avoid having too many options, which may be confusing to users.

Hello Oleg, Thanks for your reply. That's what I meant by patching a file ;-) Also the path is hardcoded in the vbseo_getsitemap.php file, too. Can't you introduce a hidden config option so it won't confuse the users but make updates without patching possible? Best regards, Thomas Jarosch |

Hello Thomas, no problem, we will move the definitions portion to a separate config file for easier upgrades
