    Zoints SEO to VBSEO

    Hi Guys,

I have been using Zoints since day one and am wondering what exactly will be the process of moving to VBSEO?

Do I have to worry about page rank loss?

Also, compare and contrast, what would be the major differences be between the 2?

    Thanks!

    Hello Lane,

If you purchase vBSEO, you can give us your current structure and we can give you some .htaccess rules to rewrite your URLs to any vBSEO style URL, or you could even match your URL style to the same.

Probably the biggest difference: We are 100% supported.

We also have quite a few more features.

    Hi,

Other than the 2:30AM post reply

Can you shoot me to where I need to be to get a better idea of the features? I have read through most of the stuff already, but it all mainly points to just the SEO side of things with modrewrite.

    Thanks!

    Thanks!

As I am already using Zoints, should I expect a leap in traffic in switching to VBSEO?

    Hello Lane ,

In short time yes you may face a leap after the switch but in long term you'll be traffic will pick up.

There is actually two way to switch from Zoints to vBSEO
    1. You can use 301 redirects from old urls to new ones
    2. You can customize vBSEO Url format to maych Zoints url format.

Within the second option you'll not loose any traffic as your urls will remain same.

    Thanks,

That leads me to yet another question. Using option #2, am I limiting the abilities of VBSEO? Is option #1 the way to go?

No , As vBSEO url rewrites are configurable you can set different url rewrite formats.
