Having moved a site to IPB software, i've noticed that there's not many SEO services catered towards IPB. There's a free one, and a paid version which doesn't seem much cop.
Would vBSEO ever look at working on other forum software?

Hello Neal, this has been discussed many times recently, but I doubt we will be looking into IPB in the near future.

Damn shame, would be great to have your support and help on other forum SEO software. I hope things change in the near future![]()

Apologies, never searched as I didn't think it had been discussed.
IPB already has some SEO features but i guess vBseo has to look into the "market"
I too have been considering IPB as they have been offering some sweet bulk deals, ones that supersede anything vBulletin is offering.
I however would likely not be migrating from vB to IPB. Just using it for new sites.
To my understanding IPB has some good rewrite products. Perhaps it is not profitable currently for vBseo to dip into that market.

In my opinion IPB is extremely easy to configure so it is better for new people with boards. At least without any experience. At least that is what I've seen in my experience with IPB. So it would be a better choice or the newer administrators in the world of boards.

Ohh, just hope it will be vBSEO staff working on it.
I'm with everyone else, wishing Crawlability could put together an IPBSEO script. I hit Juan up about it on Twitter a couple weeks back and he said things were too hectic to consider it any time soon. <shrug> All things come to those who wait?
Who knows?
Whois information for vbseo.com: Vbseo.com - vBSEO - vBSEO - vBulletin SEO
Whois information for ipbseo.com: http://whois.domaint....com/ipbseo.com
Both are owned by a "Juan Muriente". I'd say that if they had interest in the domain name, it's at least crossed their mind
vB4 is a nice update, but I expected more from the CMS. Plus, no Facebook, Open ID login. I realize there are hacks, but those should be core apps.
There is no way I'd move my blog to vB4 CMS when it goes gold. Not to mention, it's impossible considering there is no IMPEX.
I'm giving IPB a hard look. If vBSEO offered IPBSEO, that would certainly impact my decision.
As Mike said, it's been discussed a few times, maybe they are in the pre-release forums
I think Juan just secured the name "just in case"
