Is it possible with vbSEO to work with vBadvanced Links Directory to do this...

Change

to something like
http://www.vbadvanced.com/linktitle/

I have turned mine off for now, everytime I go to submit a link, it comes up with page not found.

You will be able to customize URLs as long as they do not conflict with other URLs on your site, and link ID will be required in URL additionally to the title.

Sorry, I don't follow. What is the link ID and how exactly will the URLs look?
It shouldn't conflict with any other URLs because there will not be anything else on that level (except for /forums and /links), can I exclude those two?

It means that original URL:
showlink.php?do=showdetails&l=925&catid=4
willl be transformed to:
link-title-925.html

but not
link-title.html

Damn :(
