Wordpress rewrite url clash with forums using vbseo on the same site ?

Hi , we are planning to install wordpress and also buy vbseo for my forums. currently my vb4 installation is in "forums" sub-directory i.e www.mysite.com/forums/

We want to install wordpress directly inside the web root folder i.e "WWW". So wordpress is at : www.mysite.com/index.php and vbulletin at www.mysite.com/forums/index.php

We will be using rewrite rules for wordpress which will be present in the .htaccess file directly in web root folder.

So my question is that : will the rewrite rules for wp conflict with vbseo's rules ?

No , they will not conflict. You can freely use that setup

Thanks for the fast reply Mert . One more question : so does it mean the rewrite rules inside the forums folder will override the parent directory's mod rewrite rules ? {I dont know much in detail - on how .htaccess and mod rewrite rules actually works hence a bit confused.}
