    Word Linking

    Sorry, this is a bit hard to describe, but I was wondering if vbseo has the ability to link specific words within a post to somewhere else. For instance, if someone responds to a post and within that post it says the word "google" the word google would go to Google or any other specified website. Perhaps if I have a google related forum on my vbulletin I could link that word to that specific forum.....

    Again, sorry for the bad description. I don't know how else to put it.

    interesting, after reading the thread, it apparently turned w w w . g o o g l e . c o m to the word Google and linked it to their homepage. What I want to be able to do is the exact opposite. Can certain words be specified to link to certain locations within the vbseo admin panel?

    you can use acronym expansions.

    it will take a while to set up... but you could convert TEXT to TEXT or anything else

    Brian,

    Thanks for the quick reply. I am taking a look at the vbseo demo, and I can't seem to figure this out. When I look under "acronym expansions" I see this type of stuff:

    'seo' => 'Search Engine Optimization'
    'pr' => 'Page Ranking'

    But I do not see how to change those words to become URLs

    I have not tested, but probably using html such as:

    'TEXT' => '<a href="www.text.com">TEXT</a>'
