Will VBSEO work for me?

I have Vbulletin 3.6.8 installed on my server for about 7 weeks now I have 100 members it looks like this version is already set up to optimize the pages and threads for the search engines will VBSEO make a bigger difference? Also my other question is my site is set up with a main index page that is an SEO script and it is working well........... my Vbulletin is not set up as the main index i.e. http://www.mydomain.com/fourms/index.php and I can see that Google is indexing the forum pages if VBSEO will optimize the Forums better does my Forum need to be the main index to the site?

Summarize Questions:

1. Will VBSEO really do a better job then what the new version of Vbulletin now ?

2. Does my Forum need to be the main index to the site for better optimization?

Thanks,

Hydro

1. Yes.
2. No, but you should have a prominent link to your forum. Having your forum home page as root, could also help boost the crawl priority - but it's not completely necessary. Your sitemap will help to provide the same advantages.
