Question Will vbSeo help my particular websites? (CM System)

    Hi vbseo,

I am considering purchasing vBseo for my website. They are both custom content management systems in which the forums is 1 part.

    Please see www.joshandfriends.com.au

Will the seo features still be effective if the forums is just 1 system in the whole site?

Do you have any other products that could help my natural search listings?

    Thanks,

    Josh

vBSEO will definitely help your forums. However, our Custom Rewrite Rules may be able to convert some of your other non-URL formats.

    Could you explain this?

"Custom Rewrite Rules may be able to convert some of your other non-URL formats"

While vBSEO is primarily for your forum, any extra plugins you have added can also be altered with our custom rewrite rules.

For instance, if you had some kind of custom knowledge base included with your forum, it might have URLs in the form of:

    HTML Code:
    http://yoursite.com/kb.php?topic=faq
    http://yoursite.com/kb.php?topic=registering
    http://yoursite.com/kb.php?topic=logging-in
With vBSEO Custom Rewrite Rules, even though this is not a standard part of vBulletin, you could still convert them to something such as:

    HTML Code:
    http://yoursite.com/help-topics/faq.html
    http://yoursite.com/help-topics/registering.html
    http://yoursite.com/help-topics/logging-in.html
You will find many examples in our custom rewrite rules forum:

Even without this, I strongly suggest you vBSEO-enable your the forum part of your website.
