Will vbseo help me take care of this?

    Hi guys,

Here the story, currently i own a vbulletin forum which is installed on the www.domain.com. i have quite a few pages indexed on google. my forum ranking is PR2, and i planning to move my forum to forums.domain.com and install wordpress on www.domain.com. by doing so, this will definitely be a huge blow to my forum (losing all the indexed page etc)

I wonder if i buy vbseo. will vbseo help me take care of this? without losing indexed pages etc.

With or without vbseo, moving all your threads to a new location, even if 301'ed, will likely undergo a re-indexing process. I would highly suggest not moving your forum. You can easily keep your forum in place, use wordpress index file in root with taxonomy base of something else, like /articles which will give your desired effect without having to move your forum at all.

    Hi Brian,

So you mean i should install wordpress on other directory instead of the main domain? like install it on domain.com/main or domain.com/home?
