Will vbSEO help me?

Hi, I'm the forum administrator from ThinkTeen. We are a project that was set up to help teenagers across the world, but we have very low funding.
So far, we have acquired a copy of vbulletin through a friend and hosting through the school which the project owners go to. The site was set up as part of an on-going community project that will help teenagers and is part of an ICT project for a competition.

Would vBSEO benefit us? In addition to this, is there any way we could get a discount by providing proof of the project and its members (all under 18, but we have a supervisor)?
If we cannot achieve a discount, can you recommend a free solution?

Have you checked at DigitalPoint? Sometimes vBSEO licenses are re-sold there by customers who decide to discontinue their forums. You can get them usually at around a 30-40% discount.
