Why google shows less urls in search engine for those forums who use vbseo ?

Hello,
i have seen lots of forums which are using vbseo . but when i go to google and put site:forumname.com it shows much low ursl then their threads .
this what their websites shows Threads :221,786
and this is google shows 927,000

So i am little confuse as i am comparing my website to that thread websites i have around 60,000 thread so that's mean after using vbseo google will index only 40,000 or so ? if it index completely ?

Hello,

The simple answer is that vBSEO eliminates all duplicate urls, and by doing so, you are no longer fighting with yourself for ranking. There is 1 url that wins everytime.


Quality matters a LOT more than Quantity does as well. Those using showpost urls will have a LOT more urls in there, but they will almost never return as a result on a REAL search that a user would do.

Eliminate duplicate ? i thought vbseo doesn't eliminate it infact it changes to something else url like

two topic same subject name " today date is 6th september "

1 would be forumname.com

other would be

forumname.com september.html

both gonna index on google ? is that what vbseo do or it just delete 1 from the google search engine ?

No you are greatly mistaken. vBSEO eliminates duplicate urls for single thread therefor Google can rank your thread better.

By duplicate i mean:

showthread.php?t=123
showthread.php?p=456

will both access the same content in standard vb (and there's a URL for EACH post per page using the p variable).
On a 10-post per page format, that means 11 total urls all load the same thing.

With vbseo, there is just 1.
/threadtitle-threadid/ (or whatever url format you chose to use)
