Where do I install the Encoder Compatibility Test Script and which download?

OK, I know I need to upload it onto my server, but where? The public HTML directory? The forums directory?

Once I upload the file, how do I found out whether I need to install Ion Cube or Zend?

    Lastly, there are a ton of VBSEO 3.0.0 RC's RC1, RC2, RC3,.....RC8 ...which one do I want?

    Thanks in advance!

You should place test.php in your forum root directory and browse to it to view the results. vBSEO 3.0.0 RC8 is the latest, so that is the one you would want to get now. Then, when 3.0.0 Gold is released, upgrade to that.

    Thanks

Thanks! Just found out I need Zend. I also PMd Joe Ward. You guys should update your auto PMs which say RC3 is the latest version.

Yes, you can remove the test.php when you're finished with it.

Actually, after looking at your test.php, you should probably use the ionCube version, or ask your host to upgrade to the latest Zend Optimizer.
