When should I start to consider vBSEO?

I've heard that installing it too early is a bad thing. Is that true? I'd like to know, before I purchase it. I'm choosing not to post the URL to my site for confidentality reasons.

Would vBSEO be good to install on a site that small? Our site deals with MMO Gaming.

I've seen what it can do, and I need to hoard a bit more cash for it. Otherwise, I plan on being a customer. The sock under my bed, and my laundry machine, and inbetween the couch cushions brought me up quite a bit, just a few dollars short. Thanks, guys.
