Well I have my forum setup www.musical-mouth.com

Has been going now since the start of October, most of the site is fully functional but there are still a few more features to come. I just want to know your opinions on when is the right time to buy vbSEO... Obviously for the SEO to work the forums must have content in the first place - heres what ive got:

I know its not alot, but the little posts and topics we do have are all 'on topic' in another words they all relate to the kind of people we want, musicians! About 90% of our current content is music related.

Should I build on my forums now, or would I see some improvement if I installed vbSEO? I know not to expect thousands of members, but would it help at all in the stage I am currently in?

If its on before you get indexed, there's no re-indexing period to go through. You're already submitting google good pages instead of bloated junk default vb pages.

Search engines will already be indexing your site with the standard vBulletin URL's. When those URL's are rewritten, the search engines will have to re-index your site with those new URL's.

So yes, now is the time to purchase vBSEO. Or as Brian rightly said, yesterday is the best time. The sooner the better, as the re-indexing period will go much faster. And be sure to add the sitemap generator, as soon as possible - vBSEO Sitemap Generator 2.2 Released
