I'm in the final few days before going live on a migration from another forum to vBulletin. I'm interested in VBSEO, but I would prefer to start out with the higher-performance, non-encrypted version 3.1.0. Since it doesn't seem to be available yet, is there any reason I shouldn't wait before buying a copy? Although I would love to start out with the right URLs, I also want to keep my system performing at its best, and I'd rather not deal with an upgrade in the near future. I don't mind too much if my URLs all change in another month or two... Am I missing something?
Also, I was a little confused by a post that discussed system requirements -- something about Zend and ion something-or-other. My system is running a vanilla PHP 5.2.4 distribution. vBulletin is installed and works fine. Do I need anything more than that?
I also saw a post that mentioned .htaccess files for managing the URL rewriting. I'm running PHP under IIS on Windows. Will that work, or do I need Apache?
