What happens to vBSeo links if uninstalled

So far all the questions have been answered well. vBulletins built in options are very poor. The urls are ugly and no effective for easy browsing and more.

But let's say I want to remove vbseo like some people have, whether it is a future upgrade to something, whatever. What happens with all the vbseo created links? If you have Google stuff they can reindex. If you have incoming links before vbseo they can have a table that redirects links. But if you remove vbseo, links that were going to vbseo threads are gone and might result in 404 errors. On my site a lot of users like to reference other threads. At least old vb urls are referenced with vbseo or not.
