    What to expect in Google

    Hi,

    I running a Vb site (in french) : Velocia.ca.

    I am wondering what to expect in Google form your product.

    The site is probably small compared to what I've seen (Discussions: 1695, Messages: 20043, Membres: 1139).

    I was wondering if there were ideas of what I should expect as far as pages ranked in Google after using your product.

    Last week, I had +- 15 000 pages in Google, but this dropped to +- 500 this week (this regularly happens, not sure why, I don't know much about SEO).

    Thanks !

    Pharkas

    You should expect around 20,000+ pages in Google if you include showposts in vbseo or even around 3000+ pages if you don't include showpost.

    It's up to you how you want to set it all up.

    @Pharkas:

    You will see fluctuations in your indexed page count at Google as they tweak their algorithms, or as you access different data centers. Don't get alarmed. This is a naturally occurrence that everyone experiences to some degree.

    With vBSEO, your duplicate content pages will be purged from the index. Then your vBSEO enabled pages will begin to get indexed. Each vBSEO page is optimized individually for its relevant keywords, and you will begin to see an increase in traffic as the various search engines rank your pages higher in the SERPs.
