You should:
  • turn off the archive
  • remove the archive links
  • use "replace showpost with permalink" option
  • do NOT re-write showpost
  • add showpost.php to your robots file
  • do not include old uls in your sitemap
  • do not include showpost in your sitemap
That should clean you up

1. [How To] Completely Turn Off the vBulletin Archive

2. In your vBSEO Sitemap Settings find "Include Archive Pages" and select "NO"

In your vBSEO CP options scroll down and find "Footer Archive Links" and select "Do no add Links to Archive Pages"

3. in your vBSEO CP options scroll down untill "Forum Permalinks" and select "Replace post number link with Permalink "

the rest i think you know
