    Version compatibility

    Hello,
I am considering purchasing, but cant find a lot of documentation on what the current RC version supports in terms of vBulletin 3.7.x.

I assume the current RCs are to add support for 3.7.x which I am currently running, but I wanted to make sure before I purchase that there's actually a working product for the version of vBulletin that I'm using...

You are correct, we are currently on RC8 of vBSEO which fully takes advantage of the new vBulletin 3.7.x features. We should be getting 3.2.0 GOLD released sometime very soon.

So your recommendation would be to use RC8, or can I use 3.1.0 but just with reduced functionality? My board is not yet public - in development.

3.1.0 will work on vBulletin 3.7.x, but it does not rewrite any of the new features. RC8 is very stable at this point, but like I said, gold will be released very soon.

You should go with RC8 for testing now Steve, because 3.2.0 GOLD is *very* close to getting released now.

I installed RC8 + sitemap on mine on Sunday. Only issue was a missing linkback table when I tried to generate the sitemaps. Exlanation & fix for that are here.

Other minor heart attack was several DB errors but the timing & cursory messages suggest a fluke only coincidentally related (happened out of the blue several hours after any installation activity).

The SEO-friendly URL's are also very user friendly and a nice improvement even by themselves.
