On the verge of buying.....

Ok here's an honest post.

Everything I've ever read tells me not to spend any money on anyone that promotes SEO. I guess on the premise that you can do it all yourself, which I guess is true. If you have the time! So I enter this stage with trepidation.

Anyway I've picked up a couple of small enhancements that you've posted here such as removing the "powered by vbulletin" message in page titles.

My site is heavily spidered already... within hours of a post being made on my forums depending on topic it's generally very high (1st page) in google results.

With my forum (Honda Trail Bike Forums) I get 5K+ unique visitors per day and I want to start making some money out of these people! Well more than I do at the moment anyway.

So I'm interested in what this software will help me to do as I do tend to be time poor.

Do I need to plan how I enhance my forum carefully, i.e. don't rush in and turn everything on straight away?
Is there a definite plan of attack to proper implementation?

I FULLY agree with you. The thing is, that generally refers to SEO firms who 'analyize' your website.

VBseo is different. This is a vb product/addon. That's what you're paying for, along with the support, etc. No one here is going to go through your website (unless you ask for a critique request )

I would certainly add it on ASAP.

vbseo will add to your long tail. of those 5k, what percent are google visits?

Yes some further research has demonstrated the value that this product can bring.

As to the 5K then about 60% are from Google.
I use Google analytics at the moment.
I also use Google adwords for non subscribed users. I offer subscriptions for members which removes all adverts.
I'm interested in targeting the non subscribed users.

This forum has similar characteristics to yours. I would expect vBSEO to have a profound effect on your organic referrals.

If you decide to try it, please come back and report your results... perhaps via this same thread.

Well I've purchased.
The friendly and open nature of the forum and support staff has made the difference. You clearly believe in your product and your customer service judging by the posts here is very good so you now have my money.

I will post back here when I've got some data to compare.
Off to post in some other forums now to develop my implementation plan.

What sort of things should I take note of?

Whatever you'd like to compare against in the future.

While most stat programs will have lifelong charts, its nice to have some 'stills' of the good ol' days.

I wish i took more.

Mainly, the incrementation on todays hits is SO much higher than the old days, that most of the old days look like a solid ------- line.
back then, it was ^^^^^ rocky but since my scale went from 0-1000, to 5000-15000, those 0-1000 records just don't show any change with time.

Hi all.
Thought I would post back with my thoughts as a new user to vbSEO since April.

I now have 3 licenses on my boards. So you can tell I'm impressed.

So how impressed am I? ... well as you will see in my earlier posts I already have a heavily spidered board so I wasn't sure what difference this was going to make. I have 150+ plus spiders per day, 50 of Googlebots, and posts get pretty much instantly indexed.
So what's changed.... the income from Adsense... that's what's changed.
I haven't changed anything else... and my income is up in excess of 200%.
That's no bull, no-one's paying me to say this!

It gets better.... impressed with this I set-up a new forum from scratch using vB, this mod plus another few mods, just the way I wanted.
Within one week I was on Google's first page for a few of my chosen search terms, now that's stunning.

Anyway if you're thinking about buying then go for it. You won't regret it.
