    VBSEO vs VB4 SEO

I think I am entitled to upgrade, its been a while since i used VBSEO, but before going that far..how does VBSEO compared to VB that has seo now?

Like any other people, why pay for something if it is included...

    Thanks

PS Since I have had VBseo before, I have forgotten its format, I noticed on this
    forum it is something like:

    forum.com/f55

can this be setup to run something like:

    forum.com/seocategory/seomessage.html

    Hi,

You know it is true that vb4's SEO is improved (comparing vb3) but I think you cant to compare vbseo's features with the built in Seo in vb4. I dont know if you are using all vbseo's functions or not.
you can submit a critique request Here and use our suggestions to improve your forum's SEO.

and about your second question, yes you are able to do it but I strongly suggest you to not to do it, because your website is indexed in Google and other search engines with forum.com/f55 method , so if you change this option you will lose so much of your traffic.

    Regards.

    Thanks for your response.

I do not have any traffic to lose..I was considering going back to VB, and want to start
the seo url off the way I want, rather then having to change it another way when it
could hurt rankings, and I suppose you are assuming someone already has a
forum indexed, and not to do this midstream through their forum, otherwise it
would be ok to setup the way I want, right?

    Thanks

You know if you do not have so much indexed URLs and so much contents in your website , you can do it, but as you see so many websites are using the forum.com/f55 method with no problem in Ranking and traffic.

If you really wanna change the URL writing method, you can do it at Admin CP>vbseo CP> URL Rewrite Settings .

would you please tell me that which version of vbseo do you have on your forums?

I suggest you to submit a critique request , coz there is lots of tips which will help you to improve your websit's seo.

    Regards.

I have not used VB or VBSEO in sometime, as I said, I am thinking of going back, thats
why I inquired how good their seo was compared to VBSEO..

vbseo is not comparable with built in vb4-SEO . but considering the seo in vb3, there is some improvements in vb4. vbseo is ultimate seo plugin with great features which can help you to get lots of traffics via search engines.
