Wow... I just realized that... the code could be a total mess. Wow, I am going to uninstall vbseo now because it would be awful if there was any dirty code hidden in those Zend optimized files. ^_^

Also, I never said that vBSEO was well written in my post just that it had some insanely cool features and worked really well.

    Chrsit, stop being paranoid.

the code is encoded to protect their code.... they have enough work trying to make the product what it is. What do they care about your site anyway?
I assure you, there is no bad code in it. If you know how to read your logs, they will tell you the same thing.

(And as they said vbSEO is now far from a rewrite script with all these insanely cool features they recently have been piling on)
vBSEO source code is meticulously structured, commented, tested & quality reviewed. Our happy customers can attest that vBSEO's only function is to dramatically improve your forum's SEO. I am sure that they will recommend that you keep your forum vBSEO-enabled.

How can you tell if a vbulletin forum is using vrewrite? I know of one that I suspect is, as the url's are rewritten, but half the time the url's rewrite, 40 percent of the time the regular vbulleting url's show up, and 10 percent of the time I see database errors.

Where can I see vBSeo vs vBulletin comparison? Do you have some original material or I have to look for something, written by someone, who doesn't know vBSEO as good as you?

vBSEO is a plugin for vBulletin. They are not competing products. vBulletin is forum software - vBSEO is the SEO enhancement for vBulletin.

well, I guess you can clarify it on the homepage for more clarity, right?

    Thanks for the response, though.

What is vBSEO and what does it do?

vBSEO is a mod for the vBulletin software. vBulletin enthusiasts often refer to such modifications as “hacks”. Once installed, vBSEO ensures that all of your vBulletin forum content and threads can be included in Internet search engines such as Google, Yahoo, MSN, AOL, AltaVista, AskJeeves, and hundreds of smaller search engines.
