About LinkBacksI've been planning to purchase a copy of vBSEO, but have been waiting for version 3.0 to be released first. I was under the impression it would be released in May, but now we're into June and I don't see anything new about it.
Is there an ETA on when it will be available? I really don't want to go through installing the software and then have to turn around and upgrade it immediately afterwards. Any feedback would be much appreciated.

The Pre-Release team has it now, so it shouldn't be long now...

The upgrade process is also very simple. If you prefer to get started ASAP, we can provide you with the stable 2.4.5 pre-release - and then you can upgrade as soon as 3.0 is available.

If upgrading to 3.0 is going to be painless, then I suppose I could give v2.4.5 a try first. If I purchase vBSEO now, how do I get a copy of 2.4.5 instead of 2.4.0?

Gee thanx Phil,
That gives me the confidence to mention my next idea... I was thinking random url's. Constantly changing url formats which each old one remebered and redirected to the latest version.... Whilst we're at it, I think we should randomly append nofollow to threads links and in particular links to forum view pages.
Also, why not 301 redirect to random threads? I think this will be a really big hit with google and it'll really catch on :P
