VBSEO + vbulletin Mod Rewrite Friendly URLs

    Hi

I am setting up a new vbulletin site and I will be using the internal Mod Rewrite Friendly URLs from vbulletin, since I do not want to rely URL structure on any 3. party. But Vbseo is so much more that urlrewrite, for example the likes tree has proven to be a bigger activity creater than any seo I have ever done on another site.

So my question is can i Use vbseo but still use vbulletin Mod Rewrite Friendly URLs instead of vbseo urlrewrite?
I really Like vBseo's new "Likes Tree"

You can but why would you want to? It fails on the key principal of link consensus. We highly suggest using our product as it was designed to do: fix vB's shortcomings.

The reason is that I want to be sure that I can disable vbseo without losing indexing in google. So this way I would be able to continue with out larger problems in case vbseo would stop development, development would be slow when upgrading to vb5 or for any other reason.

vbseo has a lot of great stuff that vbulletin dont, but the url rewrite in stock vb is good enough for me.

Might end up going full in with vbseo anyway, vbulletin Mod Rewrite urls seems to require that you are an .htaccess genuies in order to get the urlstructure customized.

What will change/ be new in the upcomming version?

An updated list has not yet been finalized.

A few suggestions from our features.vbseo.com portal will be implemented, along with a round of bug fixes for anything that's been reported will most likely take the version through.
