vBSEO and vBulletin 4

Hi there,

we are thinking about getting vBSeo. But before buying, I have a question.

It is said that vBulletin 4 will have own SEO tools. Do you think it still makes sense having vBSEO aswell? And if yes: Why?

We are glad that Jelsoft finally acknowledged the importance of SEO and finally decided adding SEO package to their package however SEO is an important thing and need to be investigated and integrated carefully. We at Crawlability Inc are totally focused on SEO and we are working on different methods how to improve overall page SEO. vBSEO will always remain the ultimate SEO solution for vBulletin as our team is only focusing on SEO. As shown within the announcement vBulletin 4 SEO features will be pretty basic and will not give the opportunity to match vBSEO features at all. vBSEO correctly achieves link consensus.

Is there any reason why I should extend my licence now before vb4 has been released?

You do not have to keep it active if you are running the latest version, however it is good practice to stay up to date. (That is what I do on my licenses.)
