    vBSEO and VbClassified

I read on VbClassified's forum that vBSEO does not work with VbClassified posts. Individual items in the classified section do not get SEO URLs like forum posts do.

I am converting an auction site over to VbClassifieds so it will be 3/4 classifieds and 1/4 forums so this is an important question in my purchasing decision of vBSEO.

Does anyone have a definate answer and if positive, could I see an example or two of where vBSEO is currently working with vbClassified.

    Brian,

Since I have not purchased vbseo so I can't see what's at that link.

Are these SEO rewrite rules in vbseo to handle vbclassified posts automatically, or are these rewrite rules outside of vbseo?

    Hi John,

In the thread that Brian gave you the link for, users and staff list the complete CRRs needed to make vBSEO rewrite the URLs for vbClassifieds.

So - we have you covered!

FYI - Our CRRs are "Custom Rewrite Rules". This is our feature that allows vBSEO to rewrite just about any application you install with your forum (even ones that have not yet been invented!).

For all of the Jelsoft produced products, we embedded native support. For 3rd party products, our CRRs do the job.

Once you are a customer you'll have access to all of our internal forums. You'll be able to find Custom Rewrite Rules for pretty much anything you have installed. If not, staff can help you create them.

Ok thanks. I am curious, how difficult of a process is setting up the CRR for Vbclassified? Is it pretty much a cut and past thing in a certain spot in VBSEO?
