    VBSEO Url Rewriting vs VB4

    Hello,

I'm running VB 4 on Windows 2008 Server / IIS 7 at a location similar to http://www.domain.com/forums. I have Advanced URL Rewriting enabled and VB4 is generating URLS like so:

    http://www.domain.com/forums/forums/...ments-amp-News

I'd prefer to have it generate the following URL:

    http://www.domain.com/forums/Announcements-amp-News-2

Is that possible with VBSEO and are there instructions for doing so under Windows / IIS 7?

    Hello Scott ,

With vBSEO you can customize your url structure to any format you like however for better SEO relevancy vBSEO replace capital characters with regular characters so the Url will look like http://www.domain.com/forums/Announcements-amp-News-2

vBSEO runs fully correct on IIS 7 , installation instructions are supplied within vBSEO package and during installation if you face any issue you can always create a support ticket and request assistance.
