vbseo and server load

I posted this in my other thread about troubleshooting a vbseo sitemap problem but perhaps it is more relevant here.

I am considering upgrading to the full vbseo installation. I am a little concerned however that the rewrite rules may potentially add a lot of load to the server, the forums to which it would be applied has about 3million posts, 150k threads and is fairly active I fear that when using all the rewrite rules on a large scale it might cause a lot of increased server load.

Does server load really ever become an issue or am I just being paranoid?

Oops. I posted in the other thread before I saw this. I encourage everyone to respond and provide feedback here (in this thread).

The site is on a dedicated server and the load balance on it currently is very good so it should probably be fine then.

Welcome aboard. It sounds like your forum is ready to get optimized with vBSEO as is. Should be no problems at all.
