    vbSEO requirements

Editors note: This article is out of date. please see: vBSEO Requirements for our current system requirements.

I'm looking on the site to see what exact requirements are needed in order to run vbSEO on my site. I'm a licensed vBulletin owner, looking to purchase your script.
I cannot find them, can you post a link here?

    Thanks.

    Thank you.
So, if I install IonCube Loader on my server, the script should run properly?
I do not want to use Zend, because it will ruin the eAccelerator performance by 50%.
Also, I will see if my host have IonCube enabled at the root, by default.

The telephone number you list, it's in States? I'm going to call you guys and order the script.

Ok, IonCube Loader installed on my server.
Let me know if with this configuration, I will not have any problems running vbSEO:
This program makes use of the Zend Scripting Language Engine:
Zend Engine v2.1.0, Copyright (c) 1998-2006 Zend Technologies
with the ionCube PHP Loader v3.1.15, Copyright (c) 2002-2006, by ionCube Ltd., and
with eAccelerator v0.9.5-beta2, Copyright (c) 2004-2006 eAccelerator, by eAccelerator
    Thanks
    Thanks

I just tried to call you guys on the phone. There is an answer machine speaking in spanish???
I don't speak spanish. I need to speak with a representative, in english and ask technical questions, then purchase rightaway the script.

Is anyone available to complete a sale?

Thanks for the info. How would you see the ionCube Loader performance, compared to Zend Optimizer? I know eAccelerator blow Zend's socks in speed, more then 50% increase, compared in benchmarks.
What I'm affraid is that the ionCube loadder will really slow down my site. We are talking about a very very busy site.

Also, I presume you need the exact URL of my site, to encode the script, that's fine.
I plan to install the forums at mysite.com... but what if I change my mind and later on I will move the forums at mysite.com/forum?
Will this affect anything related to the script functionality?

Please keep in mind that I compiled my PHP to 5.1.2 as CGI with FastCGI option enabled.
Let me know if any problems should arise.
I could PM a link with the phpinfo() file so you guys can be sure the install will go smooth. Thanks.

    Hello Floren,

both Zend and Ioncube versions of vBSEO are running with nearly the same performance, we have no preference here. You can use APC Cache with Ioncube as eAccelerator alternative.

vBSEO will continue working after moving forums into the folder. However, we suggest to stick with the same URLs/site structure, because the pages indexed in SEs will be lost after the movement (or switching URLs).

    Hello Floren,

You are showing as a vBSEO Owner, so you should be able to download the software from the vBSEO Download area. Vist your User CP and choose Downloads from the left menu.

When you go to your vbseocp.php, you will see it as one of the options.
