    Is vBSEO ready for IIS W2K3 yet?

    I'm running on W2K3 IIS. I've run the test script and it seems to like it. It says I need Zend Optimizer, but I'm already running Zend WinEnabler.

    It also said I should download and install the ionCube Encoded version of the software

    I'd like to use this software, but only if it's going to work without alot of hassle.

    Cheers,
    Jeff

    Hi,
    I also need to know how vBSEO works under W2k3 and php configured in FCGI mode if it's possbile.

    For Jmottle, I think you have no problem with Zend WinEnabler because one of its components is the optimizer.
    Are you running IIS 6 in IIS5 isolation pool or with Pool Garden with WinEnabler ?

    Ciao

    Renato

    I run vB in its own virtual directory and have an application pool dedicated to vB as well. When I first started using WinEnabler there was a major bug that caused any app (including vB) within the same pool to fail. I worked for about 3 months with one of the Zend enginneers to troubleshoot that problem.

    No one of the two.

    Thank you for your answer, I was interested because I was a beta tester for Zend on their Performance Suite on Win2K3 and after many months without finding a solution to the crash I moved to FCGI.
    So this is the first time I found someone else that use php on windows

    @jmottle:

    We have something in R&D, but testing is not completed yet.

    Is there any expected release date? Weeks, months?

    @jmottle:

    We do not have a targeted release date for it yet. Right now, vBSEO 2.1.1 support & the vBSEO 2.1.1 Lite release are of higher priority. But, we certainly will make every effort possible to to launch it in 2005.

    We are awaiting for the new Zend version to come out of beta. It shouldn't take long but I don't have an exact date.

    Ack, another delay? Any idea how long we are looking at?

    Sorry, I don't mean to be a pest, but I would really like to get this running on my site.

    Hello Josh and Paul,

    unfortunately, the release date for next vBSEO version depends now on the new Zend Optimizer version completion. We hope it will be ready really soon.
