I read in another thread that someone wanted to wait for branding-free before using vBSEO, and someone else said that his license would expire by then. Are vBSEO licenses like vBulletin licenses, in which you can use the modification on your board permanently, but updates will run out in a year, or is there a one year time limit in which you have to use vBSEO on your board, and you are forced to renew afterwards if you want to keep using it?

vBSEO licenses are same as vBulletin Owned licenses. Once you buy it you can use it on your board as long as you want but after one year you need to renew your license in order to download new versions. The renewal fee is 35$ per year.
