VBSEO and general indexing

Hi,

Will VBSEO help with indexing of my forum? The reason I ask is that presently I am having real problems getting my forum indexed by Google. Threads and posts can take several weeks to get picked up and even then they aren't always indexed. For example some tags have been indexed but the post itself hasn't been indexed.

My main website settledin.com.au is going very well in Google and posts on my blog are indexed into Google within half an hour or so of making them and showing up in the results.

I am using the VBSEO Google sitemap module/plugin to try and get pages indexed but it doesn't seem to be helping.

Will purchasing VBSEO make my forum more search engine friendly and get it indexed better by Google?

I see that VBSEO comes up well in the Google results and the internet marketing Warriors website is a VB site that does really well so it is obviously possible.

Maybe I need to make SEO changes to the forum to get it indexed - where do I get advice on that?
