    vBSEO for Established Forums

I've been up for about 5 months now and we aren't exactly a huge forum, but we have around 15000 posts and nearly 900 members. My questions are as follows:

Site: TEXASGUNTALK.COM - A forum for Texas Shooting Enthusiasts and Gun Owners

We've been using your free hack that creates sitemaps and it has done really well for us. I'd like to focus on taking it to the full level in the upcoming weeks.

    1. Is installation similar to an involved hack? Ie. is it simply SFTP installation of files, enabling in AdminCP, and configuring? Or is this something a bit more involved?

    2. Is installation completely reversible with no ill-effect?

    3. Suggestions for a niche site? Or implementation ideology surrounding your product that may benefit us?

    Thanks.

    1. Installation of vBSEO is pretty easy. You will upload the files , import a product file and then handle your settings

    2. You can uninstall vBSEO by uninstalling the product file and removing all the files you implemented.

    3. You should decide on niche of your site. However you may want to check vBSEO EULA as it have some restrictions.

I personally never start a forum without vBSEO on it.

    Thanks.

This is my first forum that I've built. I have another vB license that I'm trying to come up with an idea for.

The niche of the site is Texas gun owners. It's more of a local flare, and frankly if a company does not support a perfectly legal and moral group of people then they will not get my business. I don't think vBSEO has any quarrels with what we do.

like all topics, it's always borderline.

a forum about discussing technical aspects of guns is fine.
a forum about talking about how to get the best head shot on a robber, probably isn't.

Training is an aspect of our forum, and that does involve shot placement. It's not immoral or against the law to defend yourself.

We try to walk the fine line between 1st Amendment rights and commonality. We don't allow racism, biggotry, or anything of that sort, but we do allow political opinions that are not the norm.

    I think we are good.
