Is in vBSEO also vBulletin included?

So after that, my simple question: Do I have to buy vBulletin first and then upgrade with you, or is vBulletin included in your product?

No, you must already own vBulletin and have it installed, configured, and running properly before you can install vBSEO.

So, there is no difference in pricing between the german and english vbseo?

No the price is same on all languages however if you puchase more then 1 license there is a discount Bulk Discounts on Multiple vBSEO Licenses

Hi! Quite new here. So, now that I know that you have to have VBulletin before buying VBSEO; a curiousity - why don't you make the buying process much easier by having the VBulletin and VBSEO available to purchase in one go in one same site for new people like me?! I actually found vBSEO first through others link which send newbies like me directly to VBSEO instead of VBulletin, and no where in the VBSEO site mentioned having to have Vbulletin first! (unless i missed it).

So, Im about to buy , but let me confirm this; I have to go to VBulletin first, buy VBulletin, install it and then go to VBSEO buy it and install it as a plug in?! I suppose VBSEO cant stand on its own, am I correct?!

If that is correct....THEN WHY DO YOU SEND NEWBIES LIKE ME DIRECTLY (from the branding link) TO VBSEO SITE INSTEAD OF A LANDING PAGE WHERE IT EXPLAINS THE NEEDED CONNECTION BETWEEN VBULLETIN AND VBSEO FIRST????!

Sorry if Im SHOUTING, this whole thing , this seeming ly simple ommision has caused me unnecessary waste of time figuring it out! I know, it must be obvious to you; Its not that am so stupid, but not everyone knows this thing ! Phewww.... that let my steam off...!

vBulletin is owned by Jelsoft
vBSEO is a plugin for vBulletin, not a standalone item, and is owned by Crawlability.

Legally, they can't sell each other's product.



vBulletin is forum software.
vBSEO enhances the SEO features of vBulletin.


Nobody directed you anywhere.... at least not from here.

99% of popular forums run on vBulletin anyway, so it's considered a norm that if you are looking to get better SEO results from your forum, that you don't have to buy vBulletin first.

Thanks for the reply. Sorry about the frustration lastnight; I was up until 2pm trying to buy VBSEO and figuring what has to be done and right before I was about to purchase, I suddenly realised I have to buy VBulletin first!

Anyway, a few points;

1. I didn't know at all that the two were developed and owned by two separate companies!

2. Yes, most VBulletin that have installed VBSEO have a link right at the bottom directly to VBSEO !

It would have been so easy to insert a first para in Vbseo front page to explain these without looking like they are trying to promote VBulletin! But since when are we legally prohibited to promote another product?! Anti competition law?! Woww... really?! Everyone recommends eachother all the time!

Perhaps its assumed that if you're looking for an seo plugin for vB, that you have/know what vB is. I don't know...

There is a link in the footer, as that is part of the copyright. some other 3rd party plugins do this as well.

vB is not competition. its a forum software. vbseo is NOT a forum software. its an add-on FOR the vB forum software.

The reason we cannot bundle vBSEO and vBulletin together predominatly lies with the fact that Jelsoft (vBulletin Creators) prohibit the on-selling of licenses.

if your looking for both, go check webhostingtalk.com and forums.digital-point.com

and request it, make sure they get all verifed information, and make sure they have some nice feedback, remember always dodgy people out there!

Note, its not actually vbseo, or vbulletin selling it, its current clients/customers, selling unused liences, which is allowed on both vbulletin, and vbseo, as long as its allowed to be transfered.

Im in the UK and aboout to launch a few sites with adsense and lead generation as aims... any tip or good site , forum you would recommend for an adsense / online marketing startup guy?! (Im already a student of Chris Carpenter, which Im sure you have heard of if you are into adsense - if you have, have you ever discovered what his websites are for his adsense?).
