    Hello,

vbseo 3.3.2 is our latest STABLE release for vb3, but will not work with vb4.
vbseo 3.5 is currently in Release Candidate 2 stage (RC2) and will work with both vb3 and vb4.

As always, we suggest using only stable versions for production sites, but many customers are running vbseo 3.5 on their live sites. It is really up to you.

Would you suggest running VBSeo 3.3.2 STABLE or VBSeo 3.5 RC2 with VBulletin 3.8.4 PL2?

If I run VBSeo 3.3.2 STABLE with VBulletin 3.8.4 PL2, how involved would upgrading to VBSeo 3.5 Gold (when available) be?

Would it be a cleaner install, if I run VBSeo 3.5 RC2 (then VBSeo 3.5 Gold when available) with VBulletin 3.8.4 PL2 from the get go?

Thanks in advance for your time.

Upgrading is a very straight forward process. We have a list shown in the CP of what files you should delete after upgrading to 3.5 to keep your system clean of old files (about 13 of them).

Searched around the site and wasn't able to find an answer for some questions:

How long is the license active for?
Would I be able to upgrade to newer releases (including gold) at anytime as long as my license is active?
Is there a comparison chart showing differences between vbseo 3.3.2 stable and vbseo 3.5 Gold?
Is there an approximate time frame as to when vbseo 3.5 Gold will be released?

Thanks again for the great communication.

How long is the license active for? One Year originally and it is just $35 to renew for a further year.

Would I be able to upgrade to newer releases (including gold) at anytime as long as my license is active? Yes you get free upgrades & support for as long as your licence is active.

Is there a comparison chart showing differences between vbseo 3.3.2 stable and vbseo 3.5 Gold? There isn't at the moment because 3.5 is not gold yet, though at current state the only difference is 3.5 has vB4 support, a new control panel.

Is there an approximate time frame as to when vbseo 3.5 Gold will be released? I am afraid we never give out ETA's because there are so many factors but as soon as we are happy the product is stable we will release the gold version.
