Question vB SEO on a new, still to be launched site

Greetings vB SEO team!

I have read the case studies on the impact vB SEO has on well established, large sites. What is the impact on a brand new site?

My website, www.musictalk.fm, is currently in the last stages of developement and organization. The team and I are planning a full blown launch shortly in the future. I don't expect huge membership gains initially (because no one likes to be the first person at a party ). However, have there been any testimonials or case studies on how vB SEO can impact a site during its first months of operation?

To state the obvious, I'm sure as the amount of content grows, the value of good SEO increases.

I look forward to your thoughts as I weigh the vBSEO purchase decision!

You want to implement your SEO as early as possible (i.e. upon launch) whenever that option is open to you.

You can wait and add it later, but you'll experience none of the benefits until it is installed. You will also have to wait for an "update process" to occur if you add it later, as the search engines will have to update all of the old format URLs and replace them with the optimized vBSEO URLs.

Obviously, when you start out, you don't have much content to begin with. It grows over time. But you will be better served *if* the very first post you make is already SEO-ed! The result you should anticipate is faster growth, allowing you to build your content base, web traffic, and membership, etc.

When we say faster growth, we expect you to grow faster due to increased search traffic provided with the help of vBSEO, versus another forum operating in the same manner *without* vBSEO.

In our reviews forum, you will find feedback from forums of all levels of growth, from start-up to big board status.

Hello Ryan ,

Good luck with your site I personally never start a vbulletin forum without vBSEO as i believe a vbulletin powered forum without vBSEO is similar to a car with no tires. I recently ( 1.5 month ago ) started a new forum and my site is now getting average 1000 unique hits daily and 60% of visitors are directed from Search Engines.

Wow, that is great! It is also very motivating. I will not lie, this is my first website launch (I've worked on established sites in the past). It is a daunting experience starting from scratch.
